The theme “Gatherings” is somewhat abstract, but I wanted us to dig deep and get out of the box with our creativity for this photo contest.  Well WOW, wait till you see what people, like yourself, have entered!  But first, YOU CAN STILL ENTER!  The deadline to enter your images in the GATHERINGS PHOTO CONTEST has been extended until tomorrow night at midnight, April 25th!  That means you’ve got another chance at entering!

Sarah Chillson took this FANTASTIC Gathering themed photo!  I LOVE IT SARAH!!  I love the color, composition, subjects.  The photo has joy and playfulness all over it!  I can’t tell you how much it made me smile!  Thank you for inspiring us with ideas for objects gathered together!!

Sharon Sossaman took this wonderful photo, and I feel like I’m in the room, sitting on the floor, listening to the kids play.  The point of view that Sharon shot this from gives the story so much energy.  The kids don’t seem little but bigger than life.  And I find myself leaning forward wanting to hear too!  Awesome job Sharon!

The couple, her swimsuit, the umbrella…her hat…all of it is PRECIOUS!  I LOVE this photo!  Doriano Riosa, this is a GREAT photo!  The way you framed this couple accentuates their authentic story.  The color, composition, it’s all so tight and well done.  You have inspired me girl!

I WANT TO BE AT THIS PARTY!  I LOVE the energy that Daniel Jung captured with this gathering photo!  The moment of action is incredible!  Everyone is celebrating, having a great time, and yet they are all in different positions but it doesn’t look staged at all.  Daniel, wow, thank you for submitting this and inspiring all of us!

Pamela Strohl has a handful of submitted photos to check out!  The one of the bubbles was such a GREAT idea for the Gatherings Theme.  I love how we see the reflection of her in the bubbles, shooting the photo a gazillion times.  Pamela, seriously, what a FANTASTIC idea.  I love detailed photos like this because it inspires us to slow down and look for the simplest form of inspiration.
