Back on The Nate Berkus Show TODAY!

Me Ra Koh

I’m back on The Nate Berkus Show just in time to help you capture your family Holiday Photo!

Do you still need to get your family photo done for holiday cards? If so, tune in this week on Thursday as Nate Berkus sends me to a special family who need family photos! I’m giving TONS of tips on how to take your family holiday photo (and more) in less than 30 minutes!

But it’s not all about photo tips. We are also transforming a family’s life with a special design surprise and something the mom never expected. That something is what Nate is pointing to in this photo. I was in tears, and I can’t wait for you to see!  It shows how powerful photography is in our lives.

I want to give a BIG thank you to SONY for also giving this mom the camera everyone wants this holidays! She is getting the SONY Alpha NEX 5 Digital Camera, and it’s for a special reason.

Not only can she carry this camera in her purse or pocket AND change lenses, but the Live View enables her to take photos without having to hide her face behind the camera. This means her youngest one can keep eye contact with her which is everything. You’ll understand when you see the show. (oooh, I’m so excited.)

A camera, photo tips and a surprise design are going to change this family’s life!

I’m telling you, this show is packed with goodness for not only a special family but your family too!

See it Thursday! (you may want a Kleenex box…I needed one!)

  1. I can’t wait, and actually get to watch at a normal time now 10:00am….woohooo!!!! (Nate Berkus show used to be on at 2:00am)

  2. Yes! Every year I struggle with this task! And the photos we had taken earlier this year: I weighed a bit more, and I didnt like how I looked in them…I dont know what made me think that my turtle neck shirt would work. Make sure to include camera “angle” (or poses) tips for making us overly critical women feel better about our pictures. I once heard that if you were over 40 that photos should be shot from above….not straight on or below (better for eye circles/bags). Looking forward to the episode!

  3. Yay!! I am anxiously waiting for this afternoon to come so I can watch it! 🙂

  4. So exciting to see you on there again!!!

  5. Oh my…beautiful work! It was truly inspiring, as a momma of a special needs child too, this segment really touched my heart! <3 <3 <3

  6. Oh MeRa, I was in tears. Maybe because I have friends with the same special needs! This is why I want to give people photos, I can’t explain how important I think having photos of your family is! Also when you lose a loved one, that is all you have to remember them by! Great Job…really, you are such a special person!!!!! Glad you are in my cyber life….glad I have a passion for photography and rolled across your blog a few years ago! 🙂

  7. You never cease to amaze me! And inspire..! 🙂 Thank you for your faithfulness!

  8. Me Ra, Your time with the family & the photos were so inspiring! Beautiful job!

  9. MeRa you are just as beautiful and caring in person. The pictures were wonderful!! So inspiring,

  10. Thanks so much everyone for your comments! This family was so special, and I’m so excited to see the show. The camera can be such a healing, empowering tool no matter how old or young your subjects are. We have another hour before it airs here! Can’t wait to watch with my kiddos and @BrianTausend.

Just had a chance now to watch your segment today on Nate Berkus. It brought back sweet memories of your workshop here in DC in October. You know what, MeRa, I wish I could be your next door neighbor. Thanks for all you sacrifice and give for the happiness of others! You are one of a kind!!

  12. Jeri says:

I totally loved the show today. I had to watch on Tivo, but it was still awesome! You did a wonderful job connecting with the family and I cried that you made they’re family photo dream comes true.

Thank You for using your talents to bless others.

    God Bless,

Had to wait until 6 pm for it to come on here…but it was worth the wait! This was my favorite so far, and I’ve watched all of your segments! Fantastic job, once again, Me Ra!

  14. BreAnna says:

What a beautiful segment! You have given them the most amazing gift!! This was by far my favorite guest appearance by you!

Yes, yes, yes!!!! I’ve been shooting families for four years now and every year there’s at least one mom who calls me in tears and tells me something similar to the story your mom told on Nate’s show. While the images that result from a session are very important I truly believe the session itself is equally important. Thank you for being you and for teaching and reaffirming all these valuable lessons, Mera. 🙂
